Overview
This course is a hands-on course in 2D Animation. You can follow step-by-step to create your own 2d animation short or an advertisements. You will learn how to draw, edit and move frames, add anticipation and overshoot in poses and motion tween them. You will also learn principles of traditional and digital animation, writing a script to storyboarding, character development to scene layouts, adding audio and making video. At the end you will be able to export your animation for YouTube channels. By the completion of the course, students will have a better understanding of the fundamentals of 2D animation.

- Concept of frames and Image aspect ratios

- An introduction of the various drawing and painting tools.
- A clean up drawing from a provided pencil sketch.
- Design of a character displaying a pose from various perspectives.
- Clean up of various poses on multiple layers.
- An introduction to combining traditional animation procedures in a digital environment.
- Creating a walk cycle
- Head turn- Students will create a 360 degree turn around animation of a character’s head
- Tweening- Instruction on creating the illusion of camera multi-panning.
- Setting up scene layout procedures in preparation of final production.
- Students will successfully complete an animation scene based on the layouts.
