Epic Games' Women Creators Program is moving beyond Unreal Engine animated shorts into the world of Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). This year, the Women Creators Program is going to mentor 100 creatives how to build cross-platform experiences in UEFN, opening up the massive reach of Fortnite to women across India, Pakistan, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
For five weeks, 100 creatives from across India, Pakistan, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa will learn to build cross-platform experiences within one of the most popular games in the world. Want in? Then apply now and dig into real-time’s next big event!
Applications are now open for the Women Creators Program until September 11, 2023.
Selected candidates will:
- Build interactive UEFN experiences in a full-time, five-week program
- Be mentored by 10 women creatives
- Receive creative guidance from Dancing Atoms Studios
- Learn what it takes to publish in Fortnite
Eligibility criteria
- Identifies as a woman
- Can commit to a five-week, full-time program
- Has more than three years of work experience as a 3D artist, game designer, game developer, programmer, Fortnite Creative creator, visual development artist, art director, or set designer
You’ll have an added advantage if you:
- Have prior experience with 3D tools like Unreal Engine, Maya, Unity, Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, etc.
